I saw them working with puzzles, and they had a room where they played music and sang. They had a lot of activities for the residents to do. I think she did marvelously at The Lutheran Home. She went there because she had a problem with her spine and they were able to work with her from that stage until she was able to go to an independent living apartment.
They have something on the order of 26 nurses or care people during the daytime and 24 during the night time. Mom has some likes and dislikes, and she likes things done a certain way. We would have to tell 50 people all mom’s likes and dislikes in order to have them all understand and that would be a pain. My husband was in need of skilled nursing once leaving the hospital.
